Tenerife – January weather

The beginning of the year is the coldest time in Tenerife. The daily temperature in January in the north of the island (Santa Cruz de Tenerife) is about 19 ° C. On the other hand, in the south (Playa de Las Américas) the temperature is around 21 ° C, which can rise up to 25 ° C during the day. Of course, afternoons and evenings are the coolest (approx. 16 ° C), so it is worth bringing warmer clothing. The aura in January is quite dry and sunny. Rainfall is rare (maximum 4 days per month). It is worth mentioning the relatively high temperature of the sea water (approx. 19 ° C), which allows bathing.
