Charco del Sauzal

Charco del Sauzal

A place that is not easily accessible, but definitely worth doing! The entire coastline is filled with turquoise green water. Here there is a great variety of puddles and bathing areas. So how do you get here? You must reach the area of El Sauzal and just before entering it is necessary to take a very narrow street that goes down to the sea. After a while, you will see a prohibition sign, but it does not apply between 8 a.m. M. And 10 p.m. M. The path will run along the cliffs, it will be winding and narrow. It will take you to the parking lot where you must leave your car. Then head down the stairs to see an incredible view of uniquely carved black rocks and the contrasting ocean. If you go left, interesting tanks will appear along the way, but they are not the safest. During high tide, they can be quite dangerous. However, after almost 10 minutes of walking, you will find yourself in an impressive place. The water is turquoise green, and under the majestic cliff several meters high you can also see a large cave. The entry and exit of the pool is made easy thanks to the integrated handrails. However, be very careful because the water is very deep. There are other puddles between the rocks, smaller and a little bigger. The ground here is rocky, so water shoes are a must. The place is very interesting for the large number of bathing areas, its variety and the beautiful view of the coast of El Sauzal.
